Reference material, not advice
Everything here — hallmark tables, date letter charts, maker attributions, purity standards and price ranges — is published as general reference. It is not an appraisal, a valuation, or authentication advice for any specific object. We are not appraisers and do not hold ourselves out as such.
Price and value ranges are observations of what comparable pieces have been listed or sold for. They are not an opinion on what your piece is worth. Silver marks are frequently worn, forged or ambiguous, and photographs cannot establish weight, dimensions or gem quality. Decisions about buying, selling, insuring or melting a piece are yours; get a qualified specialist to look at anything of consequence.
Accuracy and corrections
We compile from assay and hallmarking records, maker registries, museum catalogues and realised auction results, and we correct errors when they are pointed out. Even so, this material is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. If you find a mistake, write to antiqly@obzena.com — see Contact.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, OBZENA LLC is not liable for loss arising from reliance on material published here, including financial loss on a purchase or sale. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Content and reuse
Text, tables and images on this site are ours or licensed to us. You may quote a short passage with a link back to the page. Republishing whole articles or tables, or reproducing them into a competing reference or a training corpus without permission, is not allowed. For permission requests, email us.
External links and the app
We link to museums, reference archives, auction and price-guide sites, and to the Apple App Store. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content. Antique Identifier – Antiqly is a separate product governed by its own App Store terms, and the disclaimers above apply to its output as well.
Ownership and disclosure
This site is published by OBZENA LLC, a Wyoming, USA limited liability company, which also publishes the Antique Identifier – Antiqly app. Where we compare apps or review a competitor, that relationship is disclosed on the page. Company portfolio: App Store developer page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
